Proud to be the first Arab charity to be registered in the UK in 1976
The International Arab Charity (IAC) is a British Arab charity focused on supporting causes throughout the Middle East and North Africa ( MENA )region.
We are a secular and inclusive charity whose principal aims are
RESTORE DIGNITY
Crisis and war steal the lives of even the living by making survival the only option. We seek to try to alleviate as much of that suffering as possible by getting much needed supplies and aide to the whole spectrum of the needy. Make unbearable lives tolerable and lives of constant struggle a little hopeful.
To ensure aid reaches the needy we partner with and donate to credible established charitable and aid organizations who already have the infrastructure and presence on the ground in the crisis hit areas.
CHAMPION EDUCATION
We support education both in the MENA region as well as in the UK. Through the IAC Hope Scholarship Fund we fund the academic advancement of several promising students throughout the Middle East.
Here at home, the IAC Esmat Al-Said School was founded in 1976, dedicated to teaching the Arabic language to children.
BUILD CULTURAL BRIDGES
We seek to raise cultural awareness and encourage cross cultural understanding of the MENA region. We do this through hosting and sponsoring events, performances and fairs that feature Arab-centric themes: our art, our cuisine, our music, our businesses, thinkers, writers, comedians and change-makers.
We are run solely by volunteers so virtually all your generous donations go directly to the individuals & causes for whom we work to support.
